Dan Franz, general manager of Riverside Casino and Golf Resort presents Eastern Iowa Honor Flight with a check for $1000.00 dollars on behalf of their board of directors.

Special thanks to Rockwell Collins for their $10,000 donation to EIHF on Friday, April 8, 2011!


World War II Veterans Arlo Meyer and Mike Wilson, in addition to EIHF Board Member Russ Dunn, accept a check for $10,000 presented by Cindy Dietz of Rockwell Collins.

Tim Cernin, Oakland Road Hy-Vee Store Director, presents a check to World War II Veterans, Mike Wilson and Arlo Meyer which will help fund a Tuesday, April 26th Honor Flight from Cedar Rapids to Washington, D.C.
The $40,000 check represents money raised by Cedar Rapids, Marion, Iowa City, Coralville and Washington, Iowa, Hy-Vee stores to send area World War II Veterans to our nation's capitol to view the memorial dedicated to their service and sacrifice.
